A stunning 1920s evening dress in sheer black silk chiffon, with a bold fern-frond pattern in velvet. The bodice is devoré throughout, then trimmed in black velvet ribbon along the plunging V neckline, with a small velvet bow at the base and a velvet sash at the dropped waist. An inset of ecru lace at the décolletage adds contrast. Below the hip, the sheer chiffon skirt is punctuated by f panels of devoré velvet that swing with every step. A velvet-bound hem finishes it. Slips on effortlessly over the head. In remarkable condition for age. Clean and ready to wear.
