A hauntingly beautiful late 1940s evening gown in ivory rayon, and perfect for the vintage bride. The fitted, boned bodice has a sweetheart neckline and a wrap-style overlay, finished with delicate spaghetti straps and fluttering points that fall just off the arm. From the seamed waist the skirt cascades in tiers of sheer rayon with rolled, wavy hems, floating over the lining. The skirt itself is quite full and lends itself well to dancing and dramatic photographs. 

The dress is lined in matching rayon taffeta. The back is just as pretty, with a gently gathered skirt dropping to a long, sweeping hem. Closes with a metal side zipper. In very good condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.

Condition: very good overall with minor signs of wear typical of age. Some tiny holes in the chiffon, a faint spot near the waist. Wears and presents beautifully. See pictures. Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
