A luminous seafoam shantung textured two-piece ensemble by the celebrated New York  designer Mollie Parnis, circa 1960s. The set comprises a cropped sleeveless bodice and a full length button-front skirt unified by a continuous run of richly textured gilt buttons in a basketweave pattern — a signature mid-century detail that elevates the otherwise clean, architectural lines. A matching gold belt buckle cinches the natural waist, adding a jewel-like punctuation between the two pieces. The wide square neckline and broad tank straps lend a resort ease that made this silhouette a staple of the Kennedy-era social wardrobe. Lined in matching aqua rayon, and even has discreet side pockets!  An impossibly chic dress to elevate your next  special occasion. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear. 

(this color reads more green in real life, it's a shade that is really hard to capture in photos, think more jade than aqua.)
