A glamorous  late 1950s cocktail dress by Jean of California in black silk chiffon, distinguished by large-scale crimson floral appliqués edged in black sequins that trail from the bodice through the fitted part of the skirt. The blooms read painterly beneath the sheer overlay, their sequined borders catching light without tipping into excess. The construction is precise: straight fitted bodice with double spaghetti straps, fitted waist, and a double layered skirt that gathers at the waist. Back zip closure and fully lined interior. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
