A beautiful 1940's black cocktail dress by Justin McCarty with the classic tailoring the period was known for. The wrap-style bodice crosses over a softly scalloped neckline, with strong padded shoulders and short sleeves. At the waist, a curved peplum is trimmed with decorative self tied bows and raised floral appliqué. A fitted waist sash at the back cinches the waist, and the skirt flares gently to below the knee making it perfect for dancing. In excellent condition and freshly dry cleaned, ready to wear.
