A showstopping 1950's party dress in oversized windowpane check silk organza — chartreuse and violet layered to create the warm golden and dusty mauve tones where the colors overlap. The bodice features a dramatic off-the-shoulder collar that falls in soft, folded pleats, finished center front with a column of rhinestone buttons on a violet placket. Fitted through the waist and releasing into a full, sweeping circle skirt with extraordinary volume. Original metal side zipper; fully lined in taffeta. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
