Late 1950's Marie Antoinette Wedding Gown With Floral Lace with Bows / S

Â
An absolutely breathtaking bridal piece from the late 50’s early 60’s era, this gown by Martha — “The Greatest Name in Weddings” captures every romantic ideal of the era at its most beautiful. Crafted in semi sheer ivory organza, it features an illusion slightly off the shoulder bateau neckline trimmed in delicate floral lace, falling to a nipped waist accented by a self-fabric bow. The body is adorned with tone-on-tone lace appliquĂ©s in a floral pattern and pearl accented bow that continues down the full, voluminous skirt, flowing at the hem into a sweeping cathedral train. The back closes with a column of fabric-covered buttons over a super convenient hidden zipper. A single lace and organza bow accent at the center of the train adds a final flourish of period charm. Very Marie Antoinette in my humble opinion. The gowns interior is backed with pellon in order to maintain the fullness and structure of the skirt. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.Â
