The epitome of Hollywood glamour! This rare couture cocktail dress and jacket set comes from the exclusive Maxwell Shieff boutique in Beverly Hills. Known for carrying rare and expensive designer clothing in the 50's and 60's. This set is crafted from truly incredible silk metallic lame brocade and features horses, warriors and musical instruments. Quite possibly inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry. Featuring a strapless bodice with interior boning, a dramatic royal blue sash that forms a bow in the back and matching bolero jacket thats open in the back. Absolutely beautifully constructed with hand finishes. Zips up the back with original metal zipper and fully lined. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.

Condition: excellent, freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Minor signs of wear typical of age. A few tiny spots on the fabric that get lost in the print. Only noticed upon close inspection. 

Please note: my camera lens is damaged and casts some faint spots on my lighter images than can appear like tiny stains.
