This extraordinary 1930s evening gown is crafted in sumptuous satin-back crepe dyed in a vivid Shocking Pink—the bold, electric hue made famous by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1937 and now synonymous with avant-garde glamour.

Cut on the bias for that signature 1930s hourglass silhouette , the gown features beautifully stitched radiating pleats that define the bodice, split flutter sleeves that reveal the satin lining beneath, and a graceful keyhole back that ties softly at the neck. The skirt falls in a long, uninterrupted column that pools longer at the back hem, emphasizing the fabric’s movement and sheen.

Styled with our favorite rhinestone brooch at the collar for a touch of Art Deco sparkle, completing a look that is both daring and sophisticated. A rare and unforgettable example of 1930s evening wear in fashion’s most iconic pink. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
