Rare 1950s black wool blend jersey pants with a whimsical hand-appliquéd cat. A tall, elegant cream felt kitty winds down the left leg, her slender body studded with pearls and black glass beads. She has rhinestone-set eyes and a pearl-and-rhinestone collar. Her curling tail ends in a felt tassel, and she's finished with a tiny rhinestone anklet. Four more cream felt tassels, each wrapped in black thread, run up the opposite side seam to balance the design. They close with the original metal zipper up the back, with a waistband tab closure.

 Shown with a 1930s cream rabbit fur bolero with puffed sleeves (sold separately).
