A truly magical 40's novelty print dress in rayon crepe- or is it silk? It definitely feels like silk, splashed with a scenic design in turquoise, cocoa brown, dusty pink, and ivory. Scattered through the abstracted floral and foliage motifs are small sketched figures — chasing with what appear to be long-handled nets. The bodice features a draped, twisted surplice detail at the neckline that gathers into a soft knot at side of the bust, with short set-in sleeves shirred at the shoulder and boosted with original shoulder pads. A slim self-fabric belt cinches the natural waist above a gently flared bias cut skirt. Zips up the side with original metal zipper. 

In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
