A showstopper from the mid-century cocktail hour, this Lilli Russell dress achieves its drama through a masterful layering of textures: sheer black silk organza over a blush pink  underlay creates the nude illusion effect, overlaid with large medallion appliqués of black Chantilly lace, each centered with a velvet dot that anchors the design with a stroke of matte richness. A scalloped lace trim frames the wide bateau neckline, and the silhouette — nipped waist, full sweeping skirt — is quintessential 1950s. The dress zips up the side with original metal zipper and is fully lined. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
