1940s Black & Ivory Telephone Cord Handbag

A fabulous half-moon bag made from coiled plastic telephone wire, hand-stitched in concentric rows of glossy black and matte ivory. The rows follow the curve of the bag and frame a zigzag motif at the center. It has a single shoulder strap, a black cotton twill band covered in matching black coils, and a brass-tone zipper with a ring pull closes the top. Inside, the black lining has an interior zippered compartment. In excellent, super clean condition.
