1960s Pink & Gold Metallic Brocade Dirndl-Style Cocktail Dress

A confection of blush-pink brocade shot through with gleaming gold metallic florals — this dress is pure Alpine romance filtered through 1960s American party dressing. The fitted,  bodice features a wide square neckline and cap sleeves, closing down the front with a row of ornate gilt filigree buttons, echoing the button-front bodices of a traditional Austrian dirndl. The full skirt is gathered in the back into a gently shirred/smocked waistband, giving it that charming, folk-inspired fullness. The interior is fully lined in cotton. 

In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
