Absolutely stunning 1950's summer dress made in Hawaii by coveted and collected designer Betty Higgins. Higgins designed custom clothing in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel Shop in Waikiki in the 1950's and 60's. She loved to use appliqués to give her designs dimension and flair. This navy blue floral print summer dress features a playful daisy print accented with pronged rhinestones that has been appliquéd to a blue linen background. The skirt is lined in pellon to hold it's shape. Spaghetti straps and an attached belt accent the waist. Zips up the back with original metal zipper. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
