Exquisitely crafted and timelessly elegant, this 1950s navy blue silk evening dress is a stunning example of mid-century demi-couture. Fashioned from finely pleated silk, the bodice is masterfully gathered to flatter the figure, cinching at the waist before cascading into a voluminous full skirt.

The skirt features a breathtaking band of tonal imported lace, adding depth and dimension with every movement. A wide ivory silk collar frames the neckline in a soft, sculptural ruffle—an understated detail that evokes classic mid century elegance. Zips up the side with original metal zipper. 

In very good condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Minor signs of wear typical of age.

Condition: overall very good, some light fading in the skirt that on the sides probably from storage. Tiny sharding to the ivory silk collar. The collar is lightly tacked on and can easily be removed. Wears and presents spectacularly! Flaws only noticed upon close scrutiny.
