1950s Harvey Berin Navy Silk Cocktail Dress — Deadstock, Original Tags

A rare unworn 1950s cocktail dress by Harvey Berin, designed by Karen Stark, in a deep navy blue silk. The bodice is cut with a dramatic plunging V neckline, shaped with soft gathers at the bust and a fitted torso that narrows to a slim waist finished with a self-fabric bow. The skirt is the real showpiece: full petal-shaped panels layered to flare and lift with movement, built over an interior crinoline petticoat for volume and structure. Fully lined throughout, with the original metal zipper up the back and a hand-stitched hook-and-eye closure at the neckline. Still bearing its original Harvey Berin garment tag and a retailer tag from Carl’s of San Antonio — where it originally retailed in the 1950's for $145! A seriously rare and exquisite piece of fashion history, in like new condition.
