As seen in the 1954 issue of Harpers Bazaar and modeled by Mary Jane Russell comes this rare and iconic dress by Carolyn Schnurer. Renowned for her influence on American sportswear and featured in museums around the world. This dress was from her 1954 collection and was made in a crisp coral cotton in a print inspired by her travels to India.  Featuring a knife pleated full skirt, a wrap style bodice and cap sleeves. Original metal zipper up the side and at the back of the neck. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
