Navy Wool Princess Coat by Peabody House, 1960s
Ā
OBSESSED> A sharpy tailored 1960s princess coat in deep navy wool, sold originally at Gus Mayer and made by Peabody House. The oversized pointed sailor collar frames a square neckline, and a double-breasted front of eight domed gold-tone buttons sits over a nipped, seamed waist. Gathered detailing at the hips leads into softly curved flap pockets, and the skirt flares in a clean A-line. A buttoned half-belt at the back and three-button cuffs finish the look. It's lined in blue satin and in overall excellent condition. If this thing fit me I would never take it off.Ā
Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Ā
