Oh, the drama of this 1950's dress! Harvey Berin and Karen Stark, at their most elegant, designed this in a ribbed black silk faille that catches the light like moiré. The fitted bodice has a sculpted waist, three-quarter sleeves, and a portrait collar finished with an enormous sculptural bow.  A trio of fabric-covered buttons, and a crisp peplum tab lead into a skirt of pleats that falls into a perfect bell. Fully lined in silk organza, with a built-in crinoline for the swoon-worthy fullness, and finished with its original metal back zipper. It's pure 1950s American demi-couture, and it's as chic today as it was then. In excellent condition. Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
