A fabulous 1950's party dress in crisp taffeta, printed with oversized dahlia blooms in violet and plum against a scarlet ground, veined through with black-green leaves and stems. The bodice is built on a crossover surplice anchored by a fitted waistband, then releases into a wonderfully full circle skirt finished with a bubble-scalloped hem — each panel curving up like a petal. Wide straps, boned bodice construction, and the original metal zipper up the center back. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
