Rare and coveted early 1950's summer set by American sportswear designer Pat Premo. Reminiscent of the iconic summer sets created by Claire McCardell and Carolyn Schnurer this set is made from imported Indian block print cotton. Featuring a classic full skirt open front dress with hook and eye closures and short sleeves. The skirt is full and flares open to reveal an absolutely adorable strapless romper with a boned bodice and zip back closure. Both pieces are in excellent condition. A rare and sought after piece of midcentury American fashion.
