A stunning late 50's wedding gown by Emma Domb, cut in ivory organza over a taffeta lining.  The bodice is clean and sleeveless with a bateau neckline, the fabric’s natural luminosity doing the work that lesser dresses would leave to embellishment. The waistline is articulated by a chevron band of scrolling Aurora Borealis sequin beadwork — iridescent, softly catching light without flash — that wraps the natural waist and anchors the transition to the full sweeping skirt. That same beadwork reappears across the skirt in web like bands, each composed of foliate scroll motifs that grow gradually larger toward the hem, lending the gown a sense of upward movement and architectural intention. The back opens to a modest V and closes with a center zip, the beaded waistband continuing seamlessly around. The skirt is super full and flowing. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
