A moody, sensuous piece of early 1930s evening wear, cut from rich black silk velvet with panels of sheer black floral lace at the bodice and lower skirt. The neckline dips into a soft V with a cold-shoulder cutout at each cap sleeve, and the sheer lace bodice shows bare skin beneath a bold floral pattern. The waist is semi fitted, giving way to a skirt built from three scalloped velvet tiers, with a final panel of the same sheer floral lace sweeping to the hem. Snaps up the side seam for closure. A quintessential bias-era silhouette, equal parts sultry and elegant. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
