Elegant early 1950's New Look era evening suit from Eisenberg Originals. This suit is from the early 1950's I believe, the design is still very 1940's but the longer full skirt skirt and the soft shoulders are hallmarks of 50's styling. Featuring a fitted lightweight jacket with intricate details and faggot stitching. (Google faggot stitching if you’re confused by this term.) The skirt sits high on the waist and flares at the hem, repeating the faggot stitching and triangle shapes along the hem. It is quite heavy. The weight and drape of the fabric is incredible. Zips up the back with original metal zipper. The quality and construction of this set is out of this world. A few of the photos have been lightened to better show details. 

In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
