A fabulous sculptural studio-jewelry statement piece. A hand-hammered brass collar carries three nested wire forms of graduated length, a shallow U, a deeper elongated loop, and a single bar, each hung from the collar by small wire hooks. A textured brass disc swings from each form, small to large, for a stacked, architectural bib effect. The hammering, the cratered patina on the discs, and the hand-bent hook closure all show the maker's hand. It's a bold, wearable piece in the Modernist studio-jewelry tradition of the 1960s–70s.
