A one-of-a-kind 1940s hand knit wool in black with fine metallic silver stripes that sweep into a dramatic chevron at center front and back. A silver crocheted edging frames the neckline, sleeve hems, and button placket, and a row of tiny carved metal rosebud buttons runs down the front. A close-fitting ribbed waistband gives the classic 1940s nipped silhouette. Wear it with a pencil skirt or high-waisted trousers for a wartime-glamour look that's still striking today. In excellent condition.
