Enchanting Antique Edwardian Embroidered Cotton Lawn Dress With Bows & Bouquets / XS
👋 A B O U T
Authentic Edwardian white cotton lawn dress, c. 1905–1912, combining multiple whitework techniques with the effortless romance of the period. The bodice features a torchon lace yoke, broderie anglaise panels with daisy eyelets and foliate embroidery, fine pin-tucking, and self-covered button front closure. A lace insertion band defines the waist before the skirt continues the embroidered treatment — including charming whitework bow motifs — falling into plain lawn with deep shadow-stripe tuck bands at the hem. Long slightly flared sleeves, unlined throughout. Buttons up the back.
A rare and beautifully preserved piece that would make an utterly enchanting civil ceremony, garden wedding, or elopement dress — worn as found or layered over a slip for a dreamy bridal aesthetic. In excellent condition, especially for a piece this old. Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
