A 1950's showstopper from Emma Domb’s Hollywood-glamour heyday! This 1950s liquid satin gown in a warm caramel hue is sleek, sculptural, and dripping with sequin embroidery. Cascading up one side from hem to bodice is a dazzling coral-reef motif worked in bronze, copper, and iridescent AB sequins, scattered with rhinestone “bubbles” for a shimmering underwater effect. The bodice features a sculptural cap sleeve and draped cowl neckline, cinched with a wide self-fabric sash that cascades into a soft hip swag. The back scoops into a graceful V, closes with the original zipper, and the skirt is  lined with a net underlayer for body and swing in the skirt. In overall very good condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
