A sharply tailored 1950's jacket from Portland’s own Nicholas Ungar, cut in navy silk (dupioni-weight, with the characteristic slubbed texture) and shaped for a dramatically cinched waist in the New Look tradition. The notched collar is finished in navy velvet for a rich contrast against the silk, and a single flap “pocket” at the bust doubles as a design accent above the five-button front. Fully lined in rayon crêpe. Shoulders are defined with light padding. The rhinestone grape-cluster brooch shown is for styling only and is listed separately. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
