Absolutely exquisite 1950's powder blue dress and coat set by Claudia Young. The dress anchors the set with a structured square bodice featuring three elegant vertical slash openings and finished at the empire waist with a self-fabric bow tie. The dramatically full skirt sweeps to a graceful mid length, its shantung-like fabric catching the light with a subtle luster. The matching coat is a study in New Look–era architectural elegance: a clean collarless neckline, three-quarter sleeves, and a sweeping A-line silhouette lined in crisp white taffeta, with a self-bow detail at the back waist that mirrors the dress beneath and conveniently located side pockets. The dress zips up the back with original metal zipper and is partially lined. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
