Truly spectacular 1930's Chinese silk wedding jacket with exquisite metallic thread embroidery on a black silk ground. Featuring a dragon and phoenix motif representing husband and wife along with flowers, foliage and water along the hem. The main characters are backed with trapunto quilting adding further depth and presence. Metallic frogs close the front. Fully lined in red silk. In very good condition overall. Ready to be worn or displayed as a work of art.
