An icoinc 1930s black wool felt tilt hat by Henry Poll, New York. The flat-crowned, narrow-brimmed form sits at a pronounced forward angle secured by an elastic cord — the defining silhouette of 30's -40's millenary. A round band encircles the low crown. holding the hat in place and worn under the hair. The sole ornament is a voluminous white ostrich plume erupting dramatically from the crown, its curled fronds spilling well beyond the hat’s perimeter. In excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
