Absolutely spectacular 1950's cerulean blue satin evening gown sold originally at Lord & Taylor on Fifth Ave. This iconic ball gown features a pleated bust, fitted waist and dramatic gathered skirt accented with blue bows. The waist is cinched with attached straps at the sides that tie in the back. This gown screams Grace Kelly and was undoubtedly inspired by her. Spaghetti straps give you support and the back zips closed with original metal zipper. In overall very good condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. 

Please note: the color is far more brilliant and green in person. My camera has always struggled to capture the nuance of this color.

Condition: Very good with minor signs of wear typical of age. Slight discoloration at the underarms. There are some pin pricks on the bust left from a corsage or brooch that was worn at some time. Wears and presents beautifully. Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
