A classic two-piece rayon set from Mode O’Day, dating to the 1940s. The blouse-and-skirt combination is printed in a menswear inspired print in green ground paisley-floral motif in coral and white, with a fitted peplum blouse that closes with carved gold-tone buttons down the front. Notched collar, short sleeves, and a nipped waist give the jacket its tailored, feminine silhouette, with a self-fabric peplum flounce and patch pockets trimmed in matching buttons at the hip. The matching straight skirt closes at the side with a button and hook, falling to a mid-calf length. In excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
