This absolutely stunning 1950s cocktail dress is crafted from luminous Indian sari silk in a fresh aqua hue, prized for its soft drape and subtle sheen. The sleeveless, fitted bodice features a flattering V-neckline trimmed in ornate gold brocade, echoed at the defined waist with an attached sash. From the waist, a full pleated skirt falls beautifully, accented by a vertical panel of coordinating gold brocade that elongates the silhouette. The hem is finished with matching brocade trim for a refined, cohesive look. The back repeats the V-shaped neckline, and a period-correct metal zipper is set neatly into the side seam. Fully lined, this dress perfectly marries mid-century tailoring with the richness of traditional sari silk. Even prettier in person, perfect for a special occasion or bridal look. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
