Stunning 1930's Ivory Satin Bias Cut Bridal Slip Dress / Small
👋 A B O U T
Liquid late 1930’s ivory satin-backed crepe falls in a sinuous bias column that epitomizes the glamour of late Depression-era bridal dressing. A wide lace yoke spans front and back — the same delicate allover lace framing a deep scoop neckline front and back — above a bodice of fine vertical pin-tucks that release into the waist. The back yoke opens to a teardrop cutout at center, a quietly seductive detail typical of the period. The skirt is pure bias engineering: cut to flow with the body and pool gently at the hem. Original metal zipper up the side makes this gown effortless to take on and off. In very good vintage condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
