Absolutely lovely late 1950's early 1960's era silk rose print party dress by high end designer Rappi. The woman behind the name Rappi was Sydonia Rappaport who designed expensive formal wear for an upscale clientele primarily in the 1950's and 60's. Some of my favorite vintage pieces have come from the designer. Made of a high quality silk and featuring a semi full structured pleated skirt backed with pellon to maintain its form. The waist is higher in the front and lower in the back creating a beautiful silhouette. A big bow accents the waist. Fully lined interior. Zips up the back with original metal zipper. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.

Condition: Overall excellent, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Minor signs of wear typical of age. Some faint water marks in the skirt from cleaning, faint and only noticed upon close inspection.
