Stunning 1920's midnight blue silk evening dress featuring bead work and decorative festoons ( I don't know what else to call them) at the hips. Composed of two layers of silk, this elegant 20's dress features a classic 20's dropped waist line, split sleeves and an apron like beaded chiffon over layer. The skirt gathers at the sides by a pair of festoons that join the pieces together. Slips on over the head. Meant to be worn loose with room for ease of movement. In remarkably good shape for age, it's rare to find these in such excellent condition these days. Clean and ready to wear.
