One of the most interesting pieces from the fabulous Florence Sisman collection. Gorgeous 1960's era silk chiffon ostrich feather evening wrap. Around 70" long and 25" wide 18" wide. 

So here is where it gets interesting...according to an article about her in the Detroit Free Press "The touch of the artist is still there. She buys designer originals in Paris and New York. She once cut off a Dior ostrich feather cape for a night of partying in Palm Beach. "It was too hot," she remembers." 

Could this be the ostrich feather cape that belonged to a dior gown? We will never really know, but it certainly could be.
