Hollywood Glamour By Mr. Blackwell Custom White Evening Gown Late 50's Era / SM
🏷 A B O U T
Really and truly the ultimate in Hollywood glamour! Rare and fabulous late 1950's early 60's era ivory glamour gown by the arbiter of mid century style Mr. Blackwell. Famous for his glamorous concoctions but more so for being the creator of the infamous "Worst Dressed List" which lives on today in controversy.
This is a prime example of his Hollywood style of work. Crafted from elegant ivory crepe and featuring a rhinestone accented shelf bust and complimentary shoulder swag that hangs down the side. Princess seams down the front and back created the perfect hourglass silhouette. Zips up the back with original zipper and fully lined.
Being offered *as-is* at a discount due to some mild discoloration in the gown and a few spots on the shoulder swag. In spite of her minor flaws, she still wears and presents beautifully. The perfect gown for an evening event, awards ceremony, wedding or gala.
Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
