Rare late 1940's jet black cotton summer dress by Pauline Trigere. This timeless cotton dress features an inventive design using typical of Trigeres work. Here she has used drawstrings to gather the waist and the bust. Note how the waist gathers and ties at the back. The sleeves can be worn both on and off the shoulders. Zips up the back with original metal zipper. In excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
