The fitted bodice of richly textured ivory soutache embroidered lace features a scalloped sweetheart neckline and full lace sleeves, while the skirt of black silk-blend faille falls gracefully from a wide ruched empire waistband. The semi sheer bodice is lined in pale blush satin, the gown captures the couture-inspired elegance Costa was known for—sophisticated, feminine, and unforgettable.

Victor Costa, often dubbed the “King of Copycats,” built his reputation on creating affordable interpretations of high fashion, frequently referencing designs from couturiers such as Dior and Balenciaga. His Romantica label emphasized Old World romance, opulent materials, and dramatic contrasts—all beautifully embodied in this gown. A fabulous choice for a black tie or formal occasion.
