Exquisite 1920's silk flapper dress in ivory polka dotted silk. The construction of this piece is extraordinary. Featuring a sleeveless bodice, a self fabric belt and wonderful floral and fruit print silk trim on a deep black ground. A deep v neckline with two flaps that can be worn tied or open.  Hidden hook and eyes down the front make for easy getting on and off. The skirt is tiered in the front and double layered in the back. A series of metal weights are sewn into the hem of the dress to hold securely in place. In excellent condition, especially for being well over 100 years old.

Condition:  overall excellent, freshly cleaned and ready to wear. Minor signs of wear typical of age. Some mild dye bleed, only noticed upon close inspection.
