A stunning 1950's era silk cocktail dress printed in a delicate chinoiserie landscape — pagodas, deer, flowering trees, and misty mountains rendered in soft coral, amber, sage, and grey. The fitted bodice features a graceful scoop neck and cap sleeves, nipping sharply to the waist before releasing into a gathered skirt with front box pleats. The sheen of the silk catches the print beautifully, giving the whole piece an almost watercolor quality. Zips up the side with original metal zipper, which shows the lovely drape of the gathered skirt in full. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
