A beautiful late 1950s full-skirted silk occasion dress in a bold floral print — coral and scarlet blooms against crisp white, with olive green foliage rendered in the loose, painterly style so characteristic of the era’s finest printed silks. The bodice is elegantly simple: a wide bateau neckline, cap sleeves, and a precisely fitted waist that releases into a deeply pleated, voluminous skirt with exceptional sweep. The back closes with a center metal zipper. An ivory net underlining gives the skirt its signature lift. In overall excellent condition, freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
