This little beaded evening purse from the 1930's is pure confection — a dense, lattice of tiny white seed beads laid over richly embroidered thread, in a warm palette of dusty rose, honey gold, sage, and mauve. The beadwork forms an intricate geometric trellis across the entire face, letting the embroidery show through like stained glass. A carved Art Deco frame clasp in warm gold-tone metal closes the bag with real style, and a fine paperclip-link chain lets it swing from the wrist or shoulder. Fully lined in pale blue silk satin.

In overall excellent condition, minor signs of wear typical of age.
