A stunning 1950s Mauer Original wedding dress—ballet-length tulle over an ivory slipper satin lining, with a fitted lace bodice and an illusion neckline trimmed in scrolling lace appliqué. Short, gently puffed sleeves in matching lace and tulle continue the scrollwork motif at the cuff. The bodice dips to a sweetheart-shaped waist seam, giving way to a full, gathered tulle skirt scattered with cascading satin leaf-and-scroll appliqués that trail from waist to hem—a hand-finished detail that reads as couture-level workmanship for the era. Tiny fabric-covered buttons down the back. Fully lined interior. In overall excellent condition, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
