The ultimate 1930's Whiting & Davis mesh purse in silver-tone metal. The Deco design is painted in black enamel and shows a stylized fan of plumes rising from a base. The bag hangs from a shaped frame with black enamel panels and an X motif, and closes with a ball kiss clasp. The bottom edge is pinked, and the original twisted-link chain lets it be carried as a handbag. It has the supple, liquid drape these bags are known for. In very good condition.
