Gorgeous gossamer black silk chiffon is paneled with bold vertical bands of 1920s lace, worked in radiating sunburst medallions that read as spiderwebs.  Matching web-like roundels sit at the dropped hip, and lace also forms the cap sleeves and side panels. A narrow-ribbed lace insert runs between the medallions, and the neckline and hem are finished with delicate silk binding. Below the hip, the chiffon skirt breaks into free-flowing flares with an asymmetrical handkerchief hem that floats when you move. The lace panel continues down the center back. Slips on effortlessly over the head, with a bateau neckline and a straight, unfitted silhouette. In overall excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
